Russia coach Fabio Capello aims to replicate his 2010 outing with England by leading his side to the last eight in Brazil. But don't expect to hear any updates, selfies and latest from inside the camp from any Russian players as the disciplinarian has banned the squad from tweeting throughout the tournament.
'They must abstain for one month, then when they get home they can go crazy,' Capello said.
Warming to his theme he continued: 'Tweets sometimes can be a nuisance, if they're not written in an intelligent fashion - so in order to prevent that nuisance I'd prefer to ask my players not to use social media.'
