The Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Morrison, Colo., is on lockdown after an issue involving safety, the Jefferson County, Colo., Sheriff's Office confirmed early Friday morning.
KUSA television reports at least three people have been wounded in a shooting at or near the concert venue.
No one was being allowed in or out, the sheriff's office said, and declined to give out any other information.
More details will be available shortly, according to the sheriff's office.
The ampitheatre is a geological formation that serves as an outdoor concert venue and park. According to the Red Rocks website, rapper Nas was the featured headliner Thursday night.
