The accident happened Sunday night when two trains from Canadian National Railway Company and Wisconsin & Southern collided.
The two trains allegedly collided at a track cross, roughly a quarter-mile east of Kettle Moraine road.

To contain the spill, Hazmat crews from Washington County had dikes and booms in place, but it was still necessary to evacuate the 100 homes to avoid further damages or injuries.
Even if the diesel oil did not catch fire, six fire departments were at the scene,
The Canadian National train was headed from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to Champaign, Illinois.
Residents from the more than 100 homes that were evacuated were told to seek refuge at the Slinger Middle School.
