A Daytona Beach father took matters into his own hands when he saw an 18-year-old man allegedly sexually abusing his 11-year-old son, police said.
The father came home to see the man, Raymond Frolander, in bed with his son, according to Daytona Beach police. The father took 'physical action' to prevent Frolander from leaving before police showed up and beat him unconscious.
'(Officers) observed the defendant laying motionless on the living room floor with several knots on his face and bleeding from his mouth,' the arrest affidavit said.
In his mugshot, Frolander's one eye is swollen shut while the other is black and blue. His lip also is swollen.
The father is not facing charges.
According to the report, the alleged abuse was happening for about three years.
Frolander admitted the sexual relationship and said 'I'm guilty,' according to the report.
He was charged with sexual battery on a person less than 12-years-old and denied bond, records show.
