LIVONIA, Mich. (AP) -- Mitt Romney is joining top Michigan Republican candidates at a political rally in suburban Detroit.
Romney will hold a 'ComMITT to the Comeback' rally Thursday morning at Laurel Manor in Livonia. It's open to the public who RSVP in advance.
The Michigan native and 2012 Republican presidential candidate will share the stage with U.S. Senate candidate Terri Lynn Land, Lt. Gov. Brian Calley, Attorney General Bill Schuette and Secretary of State Ruth Johnson.
Gov. Rick Snyder isn't attending. He will hold a town hall campaign event Thursday evening in the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights.
Democrats plan to protest outside the Romney rally by noting his opposition to the auto industry bailout.
