It's no joke that 24 people are stuck on a Maryland roller coaster called the Joker's Jynx.
Firefighters are scaling the Six Flags America roller coaster to rescue two dozen passengers after their car suddenly stopped 45 feet above the ground on Sunday afternoon, according to NBC Washington.
None of the passengers were hurt and all are safely secured as their roller coaster car sits on a curved track of the 15-year-old ride.
It's going to be awhile before firefighters get the passengers onto solid ground so in the meantime, the park has relayed umbrellas to the group as they wait in direct sunlight, the TV station reported.
It's not clear what caused the coaster to stop.
