A TV actor has been charged with skinning and eating his ex girlfriend's pet rabbit in a bizarre prelude to a death threat, reports say.
Sons of Anarchy star Dimitri Diatchenko, 46, was charged in North Hollywood with cruelty to an animal and use of a knife to make criminal threats, news.com.au reports.
He allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend's rabbit, cooked it, and showed her gruesome photos of his actions.
Diatchenko told his girlfriend he would do the same thing to her, authorities said.
'Diatchenko skinned the pet, cooked it and ate half of it while sending her step-by-step pictures of what he did,' a district attorney's statement said.
'When she returned the defendant allegedly told her he would do the same to her.'
The 46-year-old actor has appeared in Sons of Anarchy and had voice roles in several of the Call of Duty video games.
His agent refused to comment on the allegations.
