ATLANTA - A man arrested this week in connection with the deaths of two homeless men here is also linked to the shooting death of a popular hairstylist, police say.
Atlanta Police arrested Aeman Lovel Presley, 34, and charged him with killing two men while they were sleeping on the city's streets last month. Dorian Jenkins, 42, was killed Nov. 23 and Tommy Mims, 68, was found three days later. Both were homeless and shot multiple times while wrapped in blankets and sleeping on the sidewalk, authorities have said.
On Friday, police in nearby Decatur also issued an arrest warrant for Presley in connection with the Dec. 6 slaying of Karen Pearce. Pearce was shot while walking to her car after eating dinner in downtown Decatur.
'We are actively working with multiple agencies at this time and cannot provide any further information that may jeopardize ongoing investigations,' Decatur police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ross said in an email.

Presley was arrested at a rail station Thursday morning after an officer saw him pass through entry gates without paying a fare, Lyle Harris, chief spokesman for the Atlanta-area transit agency MARTA, said in a written statement Friday. He was carrying a loaded revolver and a box of ammunition, Harris said.
Police said the gun used in the homeless murders was unique -- either an older Smith and Wesson Governor or a Taurua Judge. Those guns can shoot two different types of bullets. The bullets used in those shootings were also older, manufactured in 2010.
Presley appeared in Fulton County court Friday morning and was charged, among other things, with two counts of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was being held without bond.
