One person is dead after an apparent shooting inside a pharmacy at Ben Taub Hospital.
The first call was made to police just after 2:15 p.m., Houston Police Department spokesman Victor Senties said. HPD's homicide unit is investigating.
Senties said that the scene was confined to the outpatient pharmacy area at the hospital.
There are no suspects at this time and there is no active search for suspects, he added.
