USADaily -
A woman from West Virginia visited her Republican US Senator, Shelley Moore Capito, to talk about the Republican party’s efforts to repeal Obamacare, which would take insurance away from 24 million people, increase premiums on people age 50+ by 66%, reinstitute annual and lifetime caps, decimate coverage for people with pre-existing conditions, and even hurt people who get insurance through their work.
The woman’s daughter has cancer.
She told Sen. Capito her moving story.
With the election of Donald Trump, AMERICAblog’s independent journalism and activism is more needed than ever.
