Police investigated the death of Jennifer Rosoff on Thursday morning at 400 E. 57 St.
A 35-year-old woman plunged to her death when a 17th-floor balcony suddenly collapsed at a midtown apartment building early Thursday, police said.
The accident occurred at 12:45 a.m. on 400 E. 57th St. near First Ave., police said.
Jennifer Rosoff, a resident, landed on scaffolding outside the building.
It was not immediately clear why the balcony collapsed, but investigators said foul play is not suspected.
