New White House press secretary Sean Spicer devoted his first press conference today to berating the media for honestly reporting that Trump’s inaugural was a bust.
Compared to past inaugurations, barely anyone showed up yesterday.
Vox did a nice side-by-side of photos of the national mall during Obama’s 2008 inauguration and Trump’s yesterday.
It’s no contest:
But that didn’t stop Spicer from berating the media, claiming that the white tarp on the ground makes it look like there are fewer people. Look at the photos above. It’s not rocket science. No one came yesterday, as compared to previous inaugurations.
