This is a horrifying video from the Weather Channel, showing what each category of hurricane does to the same home.
What’s kind of amazing is how scary already Category 2 hurricanes are. In a Cat 2 storm, the windows of the house can get blown in.
And Category 3, forget about it. The front door can get blown in by the wind, and the roof of the house can start to be lifted off by the wind.
Category 4, most of the trees fall, windows break, and shingles fly away.
And in Cat 5, you can kiss your home goodbye.
