Donald Trump this morning used foul language while speaking to a chaplain at the National Prayer Breakfast.
The National Prayer Breakfast, you’ll recall, is hosted by a conservative Christian organization. So it’s particularly bad that Trump would get on the dais, speak to the crowd, single out a chaplain, and then use foul language.
But Trump did.
Trump also used the normally-solemn occasion to criticize Arnold Scwarzenegger’s ratings on “The Apprentice” TV show, of which Trump is a a part owner. Trump was apparently bragging that his ratings were higher.
The thing is, everyone knows you don’t use foul language at a prayer breakfast, let alone when speaking to a chaplain in front of a crowd of religious people. Who does that? Someone who isn’t quite right, does that.
