Oh my god, what a wonderful story.
Police in Yukon, Oklahoma saved the birthday of a young autistic boy.
CNN just showed a wonderful report about three-year-old Brayden Hubbard who almost had his birthday ruined when family after family pulled out of his birthday party.
Brayden’s mom explained that other mothers are uncomfortable being around her son, because he’s autistic.
Just when things couldn’t get worse, there’s a knock at the door and it’s the police. But the cops didn’t show up to cause trouble, they showed up because one decent neighbor had called and asked if they wouldn’t come to the party as guests.
And did they.
At least 9 cops showed up, posed for photos, took the boy for a tour of their car and everything. Here’s the local news report on it, and you can read about it as well.
