Well this is embarrassing.
Former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau (not to be confused with the actor/producer) was reminiscing today about all those pundits who used to claim that Donald Trump is “a more effective speaker/communicator than Hillary.”
And it didn’t take long for someone to drag up the best clip ever, from just this past March.
In the video, Bloomberg Politics managing editor Mark Halperin says that Donald Trump is “one of the two most talented presidential candidates any of us have covered.”
Halperin says that Bill Clinton is the other “most talented presidential candidate.” When asked about including Barack Obama too, Halperin sticks to his guns — it’s Trump and Clinton.
Favreau adds, “I will play the first three seconds of this clip every time I need a laugh from now until forever.”
